"You can't control what another person does. All you can do is decide whether it's the kind of behavior you're willing to accept" - Arch Hades

Heads up! As a practice, we know it’s important to know all the details about our education and experience. However, we also want to honor our values of authenticity and being humans first. If you are looking for all the formal things, keep scrolling (it’s at the bottom).

Therapist (Clinical Intern)

As a therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their healing journeys with empathy. My approach to therapy is a client-centered, holistic, and evidence-based approach, sprinkled with a bit of wit and wisdom. I am open-minded and attentive, and I can work creatively within constraints.

I excel at supporting individuals experiencing limited social support, lack of insurance, delirium, cognitive impairment, guardianship, commitments, co-occurring disorders, medically complex cases (children or adults), and complicated pregnancies.

I have personal experience and a passion for navigating the intricacies of adoption and the attachment issues that may occur throughout that process. As I continue to develop and grow my areas of expertise, I am interested in pursuing more training in trauma-based work, such as EMDR.

I find joy in the collaborative components of care: working with families (near or far), brainstorming ways to engage with limited support systems, and working across care teams. One of my greatest skills is the ability to comprehend, navigate, and dial in on breaking down very complex tasks to ensure they are understandable steps the client can take action on.

Whether supporting someone in the aftermath of a single traumatic event or helping a client recover from long-term trauma, I am dedicated to creating a space where individuals can share their experiences without fear of judgment. Above all, my goal as a therapist is to empower my clients and make meaningful changes in their lives.

I enjoy empowering people to use the tools and resources that are available to maximize their ability to improve their situation incrementally toward the vision and goals they have for their lives.

Dog lover and travel enthusiast. I am a firm believer in the fact that traveling enriches your soul and opens your mind. I will always say YES to new adventures, especially if it involves a good deal. I love trying new restaurants (total foodie), I love ridiculous kitchen gadgets, and I will never say no to ice cream, although I'm still waiting for a flavor that tops cookies and cream!
