I understand motherhood is a season -

and I AM HERE FOR IT.

Heads up! As a practice, we know it’s important to know all the details about our education and experience. However, we also want to honor our values of authenticity and being humans first. If you are looking for all the formal things, keep scrolling (it’s at the bottom).

Lindsay Carik

(she/her)

Therapist (Clinical Intern)

Hello my name is Lindsay! As a mom, I have firsthand knowledge on how difficult the journey into motherhood can be, the different hardships and pathways that can lead someone to and through being a parent. I understand exhaustion and the seemingly endless nights of sleeplessness.

I help individuals dealing with grief and loss, those going through infertility, college students with adjustment issues, adults with anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about “helping the helpers” as I know they are often some of the ones who are in need of the most support but are almost always the last people to seek it out.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, I view therapy as a tool to incorporate and inspire a higher and new perspective on your unique individual journey. I love supporting individuals, young adults and those in the new hazy postpartum period.

Helping people find what makes them happy, giving hope to the hopeless, empowering others to pursue healing - is part of my life’s work; bringing me joy as well as fulfillment professionally AND personally. I help others see their potential within their life circumstances and assist in transforming negative thoughts and behaviors into positive change.

I hope you’ll Invite therapy to incorporate and inspire a higher, new perspective, in your individual journey. Do not let the season you are in determine the life you live.

If you are looking for a therapist who can guide you to the light you are looking for, while being compassionate and encouraging, let's connect. I can’t wait to hear from you!

I love being a mom to my 3 children. My family and I stay active and busy outdoors year-round. I love to cook and find it very therapeutic. I love all genres of music and love to blast tunes in my truck on my drive home.
